The staff here were welcoming and genuinely attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay. Our room was spotless and featured a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle—a nice touch for early morning brews. While the bar had a relaxed vibe in the evenings, the highlight was undoubtedly the breakfast. Freshly prepared and varied, it set a high standard for the day ahead. Dinner was enjoyable, particularly the fish and chips, which I can confidently say was among the best I've had. Given the overall experience—from the friendly service to comfortable accommodations—we felt we got our money's worth without the guilt of overspending. For a family that enjoys the outdoors, Cross Keys caters well while keeping costs reasonable.
